Grespania Artic Beige (detail)
Grespania Artic Beige Wall & Floor Tiles
Artic Beige is a soft, warm stone colour, a sandy cream base set with fragments of taupe, grey and pale pink stone and fine white veins drifting through. It copies a breccia marble, made of broken pieces of stone bonded back together, so the surface is lively up close but reads as a calm, even beige across a room.
In Grespania's bathroom, polished Beige 78 x 158cm tiles line the walls around a freestanding bath, with natural Beige 80 x 80cm on the floor and a wall of polished Moka in the shower behind for contrast. The natural matt finish is rated R9 and Class 1 for indoor floors and walls. The polished finish is Class 0, so it's best kept to walls and dry floors, where its shine really brings out the veining.
The natural finish comes in seven sizes, from a 15 x 15cm taco up to 80 x 160cm, and polished in three: 59 x 59cm, 59 x 119cm and 78 x 158cm. The taco is a small square in the same colour that can be mixed with the bigger sizes to make a pattern. Every size is 10mm rectified porcelain with a coloured body.
