Cuarzo Reno doesn't do subtle veining. Fine lines of orange, ochre and olive-brown branch across a warm white base like cracks in river ice. At 120 x 120cm, you see that pattern spread across a whole tile instead of being chopped up by grout lines.
Lay it through an open-plan kitchen and living space and the floor becomes the feature, so keep the furniture simple and let it do the talking. Warm oak, cream upholstery and brushed brass all pick up the amber tones nicely.
The matt surface is practical underfoot, and as a rectified porcelain it never needs the sealing or polishing that real marble demands.
