Glue Down Vinyl Flooring

Glue-down vinyl, often referred to as dryback LVT, is stuck directly to the subfloor rather than clicked together. That gives it a slim profile and a solid, quiet feel underfoot, which is why it's so often chosen for commercial spaces, busy family homes and anywhere the floor needs to sit flush with the rooms next to it.

Because each plank or tile is bonded down individually, glue-down vinyl opens up patterns that click systems can't always manage, such as herringbone, chevron and decorative borders. The trade-off is preparation, as the subfloor needs to be smooth, level and properly prepared, so it's usually a job for a professional fitter.
