Recently, our Tabo installation team completed a full ground-floor flooring project in Amy’s home, using Karndean Knight Tile Glue Down Pale Limed Oak. As you can see from the photos, the clean, natural oak tones flow seamlessly from room to room, creating a calm, practical and very liveable finish.

Floor preparation matters
Before a single plank was laid, we levelled the entire ground floor using Benfer Multiplan levelling compound. Proper preparation is essential with glue-down vinyl flooring; it ensures a smooth finish, prevents issues later on, and helps the floor last for years to come.

Amy’s home used the glue-down installation method, which offers several advantages:

✔ A more solid, long-term finish
Click systems are quicker to install and can be a good option in the right setting, but for larger, open-plan areas like this one, a glue-down Karndean floor gives a more solid, seamless finish.
The Pale Limed Oak shade brings a soft warmth to the rooms, pairing nicely with neutral walls and making the most of the natural light throughout the ground floor.
