Grespania Taj Mahal Sand Wall & Floor Tiles

Taj Mahal is named after the Brazilian quartzite of the same name, a hard, glittering stone with long bands of gold, beige and soft grey drifting across a creamy base. Sand is the warmer of Grespania's two colours, with the golden veins at their strongest, so a floor in Sand has the glow of natural stone even on a grey day.

Grespania shows it running through an open-plan living room and kitchen in the 120 x 120cm size, where the big format lets the veins flow from tile to tile with very few grout lines. The natural finish is a soft satin rated Class 1, for kitchens, hallways, living areas and walls. The polished version, in 119 x 119cm and 59 x 119cm, has a mirror shine that brings out the depth in the veining, and is best kept to walls and dry indoor floors.

Real quartzite is beautiful but heavy, costly to cut and needs sealing. This is 10mm rectified porcelain, so it has the look without the upkeep. Grespania also makes Taj Mahal in Coverlam slabs and Coverlam Top worktops, which we can order to match, so a kitchen island can carry the same stone as the floor.
