Taj Mahal takes its name and its look from Taj Mahal quartzite, the Brazilian stone prized for kitchen worktops, with long bands of gold, beige and soft grey drifting across a pale, creamy base. Grespania has recreated it in 10mm rectified porcelain, so you get the flowing veins of the real stone on floors and walls without the weight, the cost of cutting it or the sealing it needs.
There are two colours. Sand is the warmer one, with the golden veining at its strongest, and White has a milky base with finer, quieter veins in pale grey and gold. Both come in a natural satin finish rated Class 1 in 120 x 120cm, 60 x 120cm, 60 x 60cm and 30 x 60cm, and in a high-shine polished finish in 119 x 119cm and 59 x 119cm.
Which finish should you choose? The natural satin is the practical one for kitchens, hallways and living areas, and it works on walls too. The polished tiles bring out the depth of the veining like a polished stone worktop, and are best kept to walls and dry indoor floors. In Grespania's photos, the 120 x 120cm size runs through open-plan living rooms and kitchens with very few grout lines, and the kitchens pair the floor with Taj Mahal worktops and splashbacks in Coverlam large-format porcelain. Coverlam slabs and Coverlam Top worktops aren't listed here, but TABO orders directly from Grespania, so we can get them for you.
