This is Galileo Light Grey in its narrower format, and the smaller 15.2 x 91.5cm planks change the look more than you might expect. With more planks across the floor, the pale grey oak takes on a finer, more traditional pattern that works beautifully in smaller rooms, cloakrooms and period homes.
The colour itself is a soft, washed grey with gentle knots, light enough to brighten a north-facing room without tipping into cold.
These planks use the Uniclic locking system, which joins on both the long and short edges by angling or tapping the planks together, with no glue or nails. Like the rest of the range, they're built on a rigid stone plastic composite core, SPC for short, with a 0.55mm wear layer, an attached underlay and a waterproof build, and they're suitable for underfloor heating up to a 27°C surface temperature.
