Grespania Jungla Abeto Wall & Floor Tiles

Abeto is the lightest Jungla colour, a pale cream wood with soft, straight grain and the odd small knot, like Scandinavian fir that's been sanded back and limed. Grespania builds in a good amount of shade variation from plank to plank, so a finished floor looks like real boards rather than one print repeated across the room.

Pale wood floors bounce light around, which helps in a north-facing living room or a hallway that gets little daylight. Real pale timber scuffs, dents and yellows over the years. This is porcelain, so wet boots, dog claws and spilled drinks leave no mark, and it sits happily over underfloor heating.

There are two plank sizes. The 26 x 160cm is a long, wide board for open-plan spaces, where fewer joints make the floor look more like engineered timber. The 19.5 x 120cm is narrower and easier to plan in a bathroom or small hallway. Both come in a natural matt finish for walls and indoor floors, and the 19.5 x 120cm is also made in an R11 anti-slip version for shower floors, wet rooms and outdoor areas, so the same wood look can run from the kitchen out onto the terrace.
