Grespania Blue Roma Wall & Floor Tile 30 x 60cm

The 30 x 60cm is the Blue Roma size to reach for when the walls are doing most of the work. Shower enclosures, bath surrounds and kitchen splashbacks are full of corners and fittings to tile around, and a smaller tile makes those cuts far more forgiving.

The look is a cool blue-grey with fine copper veins, inspired by a bluish stone from Brazil. Grespania's CarvedTechnology gives each tile a gentle relief that follows the veining, so the surface catches the light like real stone rather than a flat print. Stack the tiles vertically for a crisp, modern feel, or lay them in a brick bond. A tip from the trade: with rectangular porcelain, an offset of a third rather than half keeps the finished wall flatter.

Brushed copper or bronze taps pick out the veining beautifully, and a navy or deep green vanity unit makes the blue come alive. It's just as happy on the floor of a small bathroom or utility room, and as a matt, rectified porcelain it needs nothing more than a wipe to look its best.
