Pangea is Grespania's take on a natural stone with a minimalist look: a soft, cloudy base scattered with fine aggregate, the small grains and specks you see in cut limestone or polished concrete, without bold veins or busy patches. It's a calm, versatile porcelain that works across a whole home, from kitchen and living room floors to bathroom walls and out onto the terrace.
There are five colours. Arena is a pale sand-white, Blanco a bright white with a faint grey cloud, Cemento a cool concrete grey, Greige a warm grey-beige and Tierra an earthy terracotta brown. Each comes in 30 x 60cm, 60 x 60cm, 80 x 80cm, 60 x 120cm and 120 x 120cm, all 10mm rectified porcelain coloured through the body. The natural matt finish is rated R10 and Class 1 for indoor floors and walls, and the anti-slip version, rated R11 and Class 3, comes in four of the sizes for showers, wet rooms and patios.
For a feature wall, the Tasmania decor comes in all five colours, a 60 x 120cm tile with fine combed waves in relief. Grespania puts Tasmania Cemento behind a freestanding bath with Pangea Blanco on the floor, and Tasmania Arena on a living room wall above a Pangea Tierra floor.
Can you use Pangea indoors and out? Yes. In Grespania's photos, Cemento runs from a kitchen onto a covered terrace, with the natural finish inside and the anti-slip version outside in the same size, next to a wall of Grespania Malmo wood-slat tiles. Greige appears with Grespania Jungla wood-effect planks and Pigmento Blanco brick tiles in a bathroom. The range also includes Coverlam slabs, Zelanda and Caledonia mosaics, steps and skirting. They aren't listed here, but TABO orders directly from Grespania, so we can get them for you. You'll find them all in the Grespania series catalogues.
