Rich, earthy and full of character, Plains Terracotta is one of the most striking tones in the entire Nesting Room collection. It draws its colour from red sand beaches, and the sand-like surface texture gives it a depth that a flat, glazed tile simply cannot replicate. In the large 120x280cm slab format, it is genuinely breathtaking on a feature wall.
Made in Italy by ABK in collaboration with Moooi, these full-body porcelain tiles are available in 6mm thickness at 120x280cm for walls, and in 8.5mm across 120x120cm, 60x120cm and 60x60cm for both walls and floors. The Nesting Room catalogue shows Plains Terracotta used to dramatic effect in a bathroom, covering walls, floor and even the exterior of a freestanding bath, and it is hard not to be won over by the result.
