A Modern Slab Door With A Genuinely Smooth Matt Finish

Super Matt is one of Omega's slab doors, sold under both the Novus and Sheraton brands. It's finished in a smooth, velvety matt lacquer that gives a modern kitchen real depth rather than a flat, glossy sheen. Lighter shades bring an airy, spacious feel to the room, while the darker tones lean into a richer, more dramatic look, so the same door style can suit two quite different moods depending on the colour you choose.

The handle is what separates the two names here, not the finish. Left completely handle-free and built using Novus's integrated profile system, Super Matt becomes part of the Novus range, letting that matt surface run uninterrupted across the whole kitchen. Fitted with a handle instead, it sits within Sheraton's collection, keeping the same rich colour depth but with a more traditional way of opening the cupboards.

Because the surface is so clean and uninterrupted, Super Matt works particularly well if you want to play with contrast, pairing a pale worktop against a dark run of base units, or bringing in warm wood accents like Wenge or Woodgrain Natural Oak to soften the matt finish.

Built at 18mm thickness in lacquered MDF, Super Matt is available in Rigid, Ready-to-Assemble, and Handleless formats, and comes in six standard finishes: Quartz, Cotton, Clay, Flint, Marine, and Jet.
