The Porcelanosa London Arce is a large format porcelain plank tile at 23 x 200cm - a genuinely ambitious format that brings the look of wide-board hardwood flooring to spaces where real timber would be impractical. The long, narrow plank creates a strong sense of direction in a room, drawing the eye down a hallway, through a kitchen, or across an open-plan living space in a way that smaller tiles simply cannot replicate.

The Arce (maple) colourway is a warm, light honey tone with realistic grain variation running through every tile. The matt finish keeps it looking natural rather than synthetic, and the variation between tiles - as you would find with real timber planks - gives the finished floor a handmade quality. It works with a wide range of interiors, from pale Scandi-influenced spaces to richer, more layered rooms where it brings warmth without heaviness.

At 11.5mm thickness, London Arce is a solid, reassuring tile underfoot and performs well in high-traffic areas including hallways, kitchens, and living rooms. It is compatible with underfloor heating and suitable for light commercial as well as domestic use. A staggered laying pattern - as you would use with real timber planks - is recommended, as it gives the most natural result and prevents any repetitive, artificial appearance.
