Teapot Brown is named after the Brown Betty, the plain glazed teapot that sat in nearly every Victorian kitchen and was famous for being very easy to clean. Not a bad recommendation for a wall tile.
The colour went on to become a favourite in pubs and grand municipal buildings, and on a brick tile it brings back that sturdy, old-fashioned feel. It's a deep, glossy brown that looks particularly good with cream, brass and dark wood.
