That gives you a shortcut if you want a shaker kitchen without spending time picking a bespoke colour, while still leaving the door open (so to speak) if you want something more specific.

The six standard shades, Light Grey, White, Cashmere, Ivory, Graphite, and Indigo Blue, are chosen to work well together, so mixing two of them across wall and base units is an easy way to get a two-tone kitchen without any custom paint matching.
