Long and elegant, the 60 x 120cm format is the one to pick if White Balance is going on the walls as well as the floor. Stood upright behind a freestanding bath or along a shower wall, its gold and grey veins run upwards and make the ceiling feel that bit higher. Lay the same tile lengthways across a kitchen or living room floor and it does a completely different job, stretching the space out instead.
The base is a soft, milky white that keeps a room bright without tipping into clinical. Rectified edges and a natural matt surface give it a smooth, understated feel. Because it's porcelain rather than stone, there's nothing to seal and very little to worry about once it's down. If you love the idea of a marble bathroom but not the maintenance that comes with one, this is a very easy tile to live with.
