ClickLux Black Elm has a deep grey-black finish with a clearly visible elm grain, so it looks like real timber rather than a flat block of dark colour. It's a great match for modern kitchens with pale or wood-toned units, and it makes white walls look even crisper.
Each plank clicks into the next using an I4F locking system, and a 1mm foam underlay is already bonded to the back, so there's no glue and no separate roll of underlay to wrestle with. At just under 122cm long, the planks cover a room quickly and keep the number of joins down.
The core is stone plastic composite, a dense blend that's mostly limestone, which keeps each plank stiff and completely waterproof. A clear 0.3mm wear layer on top protects the surface from everyday scuffs, and it's rated for heavy domestic use, so kitchens and bathrooms are well within its comfort zone. It can go over underfloor heating as well.
