Deep black porcelain with sharp white veining running through it, Nero Marquinia is the tile people reach for when they want a floor or wall to make a statement rather than sit quietly in the background. It works particularly well against lighter colours in the range, Biancone or Carrara laid alongside it in a checkerboard or border gives real contrast, and it's just as striking used alone across a full bathroom floor.
The satin surface keeps that contrast from feeling harsh, there's a softness to how the light sits across the tile rather than a hard reflective shine. Rectified edges keep grout lines tight, which matters more on a dark tile where any unevenness tends to show.
We'd recommend seeing a sample in person before committing to a large area in this colour, the depth of black and how the veining catches light varies more than most other tiles in the range depending on the space and its lighting.
