ClickLux Ashdown Limed Oak Herringbone sits between a cool light grey and a warm washed oak, which makes it one of the easiest colours in the range to design around. It works in open-plan kitchens with white or grey units, and it's light enough to brighten a hallway that doesn't get much daylight.
Stone plastic composite sounds technical, but it just means the core of each 12.6 x 63cm plank is made mostly from limestone, which keeps it rigid and completely waterproof. The planks lock together using a 5Gi click system, with a 1mm foam underlay already in place and a 0.3mm wear layer to protect against everyday marks. It's suitable for underfloor heating, and as with any herringbone floor, allow a few extra planks for the cuts around the edges.
