Grespania Jungla Roble (detail)
Grespania Jungla Roble Wall & Floor Tiles
Roble (Spanish for oak) is the greige of the Jungla range, a weathered oak with a grey-brown tone and long, fine grain. Think of timber that's been left outside for a season and has silvered a little, then brought back indoors.
Grey-toned wood sits comfortably next to white walls, black taps and concrete-look worktops, so Roble works in modern kitchens and bathrooms that want the warmth of wood without any yellow or orange. Unlike a real oak floor, there's no sanding or re-oiling to think about, and water on the floor is no problem at all.
The 26 x 160cm planks are 1.6 metres long, so even a modest room needs only a few rows and the floor looks calm and uncluttered. The narrower 19.5 x 120cm suits bathrooms and smaller rooms, and comes in two finishes: natural matt, and R11 anti-slip for shower floors, wet rooms and outdoor spaces. That makes it easy to carry the same floor from an en-suite straight into a walk-in shower.
