Corten steel is the rusty orange-brown metal you see on modern garden planters and architect-designed houses, made to weather on purpose. Distrito Corten brings that finish indoors in porcelain: a deep rust brown with orange highlights and darker streaks.
It's a strong, warm colour. A feature wall behind a dining table or a cloakroom tiled floor to ceiling shows it off well, and oak and black metal fittings look good against it. The natural matt finish is rated R10 for indoor floors, and there are four sizes from 30 x 60cm up to 120 x 120cm.
