Think of a converted warehouse flat with a concrete island and black-framed glazing. Distrito Aluminio belongs in that sort of room. It's a mid-grey with the brushed, cloudy surface of aged aluminium, darker in patches and lighter where the metal looks worn.
The colour sits well with matt black taps, walnut and white walls. Go large if the room allows: the 120 x 120cm and 60 x 120cm sizes leave an open-plan floor with very few grout lines, while 30 x 60cm and 60 x 60cm are easier to fit in a smaller space. The natural matt porcelain is rated R10 for indoor floors and can run up the walls too.
