Elegant Materials and Warm Brass Accents
We recently had the pleasure of working on a beautiful bathroom renovation in Leighton Buzzard. The client wanted a calming, modern space with a touch of luxury, and the final result certainly delivers! Carefully selected materials and finishes come together to create a bathroom that feels spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed.
Timeless Tiles in Soft, Natural Tones
To set the tone for this tranquil bathroom, our client chose LAB325 Taupe 60 x 120cm tiles by ABK for both the floor and the main walls. These large-format tiles have a subtle industrial texture and a warm grey tone that brings depth without overwhelming the space.
For contrast and visual interest, the feature wall behind the shower enclosure is tiled in Dubai White 33.3 x 100cm by Porcelanosa. With its softly textured surface and glossy finish, this tile adds a clean, sculptural element that catches the light beautifully.
A Sleek Wetroom and Statement Brass Fixtures
The shower area is defined by a spacious Ultra Slim Shower Tray (1700 x 900mm) by Bathrooms to Love, paired with a Brushed Brass Wetroom by Merlyn. The slim, streamlined profile of the tray adds to the minimalist feel, while the brass framing provides a bold, contemporary edge.
All fittings throughout the bathroom are finished in brushed brass, adding warmth and a sophisticated glow that works perfectly with the neutral tile palette.
Double Basins and Practical Elegance
One of the standout features of this bathroom is the generous 1500 x 600mm Minerva Ice Crystal Worktop, which offers plenty of usable space without crowding the room. Sitting atop are two Curved Oval Basins - a sleek, modern shape that reinforces the bathroom’s balanced symmetry.
Below the worktop, the gorgeous shelving provides ample storage, keeping surfaces clear and the design clutter-free.
A Glamorous Centrepiece and Subtle Comforts
A free-standing white bath takes pride of place, adding a touch of glamour to the room with its sculptural, spa-like silhouette.
To complete the layout, the Tima Wall-Hung Pan with Soft Close Seat contributes to the modern, floating look of the room, while underfloor heating brings hidden comfort to the tiled flooring - ideal for cooler mornings.
