Unicom Starker Rêverie

Rêverie is Unicom Starker's take on the classic cementine, those traditional encaustic cement tiles you'll recognise from old Victorian hallways and Mediterranean courtyards, reworked here in porcelain for a modern home. It's a proper cement-effect collection, not concrete-effect, there's a real warmth and hand-finished feel to the patterns rather than the raw, industrial look you'd get elsewhere.

The collection is built around four plain colours, Blanc, Gris, Bleu and Noir, which act as the calm, everyday backbone of the range, alongside seventeen numbered décor patterns and two bolder Geometric designs, Terracotta and Zaffiro. That gives you a genuinely huge amount of scope, from a single feature wall using one pattern, right through to a full floor mixing several patterns and plain colours together, the way the old cementine tiles were traditionally laid.

Every piece is 20 x 20cm, 10mm thick and rectified, with an R10 slip rating on the plain colours, so it's a properly practical choice for bathroom and kitchen floors as well as walls, not just something to look at. It's frost resistant too, so it'll happily go somewhere unheated if you need it to.
