Unicom Starker Châteaux

Châteaux is a stone-effect porcelain collection from Unicom Starker, built around four colourways: Perla, Avorio, Beige, and Antracite. Rather than a single flat stone tone, each colour carries a printed stone-joint design across the surface, a nod to the irregular, hand-cut look of old quarried limestone, while the tile itself stays precisely rectified underneath for tight, even grout lines.

Perla and Avorio sit at the paler end of the range, chalky and ivory respectively, both suited to opening up a smaller bathroom or giving a kitchen a softer, more natural feel. Beige sits between the two, a sandy, earthy tone that works equally well underfoot or on a splashback. Antracite is the outlier, a charcoal grey with subtle marbling that brings real depth to a floor or a feature wall, particularly against pale walls or timber.

What sizes does Châteaux come in?

The field tiles are available as 60 x 90cm and 40 x 60cm single-size formats, both rectified and offered in a Naturale (R10) or Grip (R11) finish. There's also a mixed-format box combining 40 x 60cm, 40 x 40cm, 20 x 40cm and 20 x 20cm pieces together, useful if you want a more varied, less uniform laying pattern across a larger floor. This is the only way to get the smaller square formats, since they aren't sold on their own.

Are there decorative or pattern pieces in the range?

Each colour also comes as a Trama pattern tile (20 x 20cm, a fine lattice-style design), a square Mosaico (sold as 30 x 30cm sheets), and a Hexagon mosaic (30 x 34cm). These work well as a shower panel, a splashback, or a decorative band running through a larger tiled wall, giving you a way to bring in some pattern without moving away from the main colour palette.

Can I get trim pieces for Châteaux?

Yes. Step tiles, angled step tiles, L-shaped trims, and a glazed skirting board are all available across the range, along with the pieces listed above.
