Grespania Coverlam Concrete Gris Natural 50 x 100cm

Coverlam is Grespania's ultra-thin porcelain, and Concrete Gris shows off what it does best. At just 3.5mm thick, each 50 x 100cm tile is a fraction of the weight of a standard porcelain tile, yet it's still tough, hard-wearing porcelain all the way through. That slim profile is a real help on refurbishments, where tiling over an existing surface can save a lot of mess, so long as your fitter is happy the surface underneath is sound.

The look is a soft, even grey with gentle concrete-style movement, about as close to a polished-plaster or microcement finish as you'll get from a tile. Grespania describe the shade variation as soft, so it reads as calm and consistent across a wall rather than patchy. It has a natural matt finish and an R9 slip rating, so it can go on walls or floors in dry indoor areas.

The edges are rectified, so it can be laid with joints as fine as 2mm for that clean, almost seamless effect. Each box holds five tiles and covers 2.5m².
