Metropolitan Perla has that lovely raw, concrete-like look that's everywhere in industrial-style interiors right now, but without any of the cold, hard edges concrete actually brings. It's a soft grey ceramic tile with a subtle textured surface, the kind of finish that looks brilliant against warm wood, black taps, or greenery, and it works just as well in a sleek city bathroom as it does softening a more traditional kitchen that wants a modern touch. At 30 x 90cm, it makes a wall feel bigger and cleaner, with fewer grout lines breaking things up.
It's part of Grespania's Bellacasa collection, and it's designed to be mixed and matched rather than used on its own. Pair it with the Dakota Perla decor tile for a feature wall with a bit more personality, or run it alongside the matching Metropolitan Perla porcelain floor tile for a scheme that flows straight from the floor up the walls.
