In the peaceful neighbourhood of Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes, our latest design project has brought together understated luxury, refined textures and modern practicality. The vision was to create a bathroom that feels open, calm and effortlessly sophisticated, where every detail works in harmony.
A Flow of Style and Comfort
From the moment you step inside, the design flows naturally, with each material and fitting chosen to complement the next. The cool, modern finish of the stainless steel works beautifully against the warm oak tones and soft ivory backdrop. Thoughtful touches, like the integrated lighting and wall-hung fixtures, contribute to an airy, easy-to-maintain space that is as functional as it is inviting.
Travertine Tones and Natural Warmth
The foundation of the design is the stunning ABK Sensi Roma Ivory 60x120cm porcelain tile, inspired by timeless Roman travertine. Used across both walls and floors, its subtle ivory tones and natural stone-like texture create a serene, spacious feel. The large-format tiles minimise grout lines, enhancing the seamless look while their durable finish offers the perfect balance of beauty and practicality.
To bring warmth and a touch of natural texture, the Deuco Elan 600 two-drawer vanity unit in Natural Oak was chosen. Its floating design adds a sense of lightness to the room, while the soft wood grain complements the stone effect of the tiles. Above, the illuminated mirror cabinet provides practical storage and a gentle glow, perfect for everyday use.
Contemporary Fixtures with a Luxury Edge
Sleek stainless-steel fittings from Just Taps’ INOX range add a contemporary contrast. The basin mixer and thermostatic shower set maintain a cohesive look, while the brushed stainless steel towel radiator is both a functional heating solution and an elegant vertical feature along the wall.
The shower area features a Linear Shower Tray from Bathrooms to Love, paired with a wetroom panel and brushed nickel profile to keep the space feeling open. A recessed niche, softly lit, provides a stylish focal point as well as practical storage for shower essentials. The Cilantro Rimless Wall Hung WC completes the clean, uncluttered look, paired with the INOX Single Lever Douche Set for added convenience.
