We recently completed this bathroom project for a returning customer in Little Horwood, just outside Milton Keynes. Having previously supplied and installed an en-suite for Sue, it was lovely to work with her again - this time on her main bathroom.
One thing we always appreciate with returning customers is that there is already a level of trust there. Sue already knew the way we work, and we already had a good understanding of the sort of finish and service she was looking for. That means we can get straight into the detail, rather than spending time building confidence from scratch.
For this bathroom, the aim was to create something clean, modern and practical, but still warm and welcoming rather than cold or overly minimal. The finished result combines soft neutral tones with textured Porcelanosa feature tiles, a walk-in wetroom shower and plenty of storage, giving the room a calm and uncluttered feel.

Designing Around a Sloped Ceiling - Wetroom Layout Planning
One of the details that needed careful thought in this bathroom was the sloped ceiling. Rather than fighting against it, the layout was designed to work with the shape of the room, positioning the furniture, mirror and shower area in a way that feels natural and balanced.
The walk-in shower helps keep the room feeling open, and the linear drain gives a much cleaner look than a traditional shower tray. Small details like this make a big difference in everyday use and are something we often discuss with customers during the planning stage.
The recessed shower niche also keeps bottles and products tucked away neatly without needing additional shelving.

Porcelanosa Tiles Used in This Bathroom - Shine, Ferroker and Eternity Mini Strip
As an approved Porcelanosa dealer, we work with Porcelanosa products on many of our bathroom projects, and this installation is a great example of why customers continue to choose them.
For this bathroom, Sue selected:
- SHINE PLATINO wall tiles
- FERROKER PLATINO floor tiles
- ETERNITY MINI STRIP WHITE mosaic feature tiles
The combination works really well together. The larger wall and floor tiles keep the room feeling bright and open, while the vertical mosaic detail behind the basin and in the shower area adds texture without overpowering the rest of the design.
Porcelanosa tiles are something customers often come to our Milton Keynes showroom specifically to see in person. Photos online never quite show the texture, finish and variation properly, especially with feature mosaics and lighter neutral tiles like these.
Porcelanosa has a reputation for being premium, and it is - but being an approved dealer means we can offer pricing that often surprises people. We also regularly help customers compare quotations and are always happy to provide a like-for-like price.

HIB Fabrica Furniture, Countertop Basin and Chrome Brassware - The Finishing Touches
The Fabrica light taupe wall-hung furniture by HIB gives useful storage without making the room feel heavy, while the marble-effect worktop and countertop basin soften the overall look and tie in nicely with the lighter tones in the tiles.
Chrome brassware and the illuminated mirror finish everything off without making the room feel overdesigned. The overall effect is modern but still timeless enough that it should look just as good years from now.
Why Sue Chose Tabo Again - and What She Said
We are always grateful when customers come back to us for future projects, and Sue has kindly left reviews for both her en-suite and this bathroom installation.
Her previous review following the en-suite project said:
Prompt delivery is something we work hard on, because delays on materials are one of the most common frustrations in bathroom renovations!
Following this bathroom project, she also left us another 5-star review on Trustpilot:
As a smaller independent company, customer service is incredibly important to us. We know people are making a significant investment when they renovate a bathroom or kitchen, so we always try to make the process feel straightforward and personal rather than transactional.
Bathroom Design and Installation in Milton Keynes and Surrounding Areas
Although our showroom is based in Milton Keynes, we regularly work across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, including areas such as Woburn Sands, Newport Pagnell, Stony Stratford, Buckingham, Olney, Towcester and the surrounding villages.
Many customers first visit our showroom to discuss ideas with our design team before we arrange site visits and measurements. Some customers choose a full design, supply and installation service using our in-house team, while others simply purchase products from us to work with their own installer.
Tabo itself became a standalone company in 2024, but our roots go back much further through Marabese Ceramics, where many of the same team built years of experience designing bathrooms, kitchens and tiled interiors throughout the local area.
Because we are a smaller business, customers deal with real people throughout the project, and nothing ever feels too far removed from the showroom conversation at the start.
If you are planning a wetroom, bathroom renovation or tiled interior in Milton Keynes or the surrounding area, we would love to help. You are welcome to visit our showroom to see Porcelanosa tiles and bathroom furniture in person, or call us on 01908 311104 to discuss your project.
