At Tabo, we love seeing our designs come to life – and this recent project is a perfect example of how the right combination of products can create a truly stunning bathroom.
For this customer, we provided the full design and supplied the products, while they chose to work with their own fitter. We’re always happy to be flexible – whether that means supplying everything and managing the full installation, or just providing the design and products while customers use their preferred tradesperson.
The end result here is a space that feels modern, elegant, and beautifully balanced.

Warm and Textured Walls
The walls make an instant impression, with Porcelanosa’s Lexington Cognac tiles adding warmth and subtle texture. Paired with the dramatic Atlantis Black polished tiles, streaked with gold veining, the room gains a striking contrast that feels luxurious without being overwhelming.
A Floor with Character
On the floor, the customer chose Karndean’s Van Gogh Gluedown Ebony vinyl flooring. The dark tones complement the warm wood-effect tiles on the walls, creating a sense of continuity across the room.

Statement Bathing and Showering
The freestanding Harlesden bath by Bathrooms to Love provides a sculptural centrepiece, perfectly placed against the textured wall tiles. In the shower area, the Frontline Regency sliding door in matt gold pairs effortlessly with the brushed brass shower fittings, bringing a touch of sophistication. The Structure Slate black tray completes the enclosure with a sleek, contemporary feel.
Elegant Details
Finishing touches make all the difference. The Deuco Plano Lux vanity unit provides practical storage with a clean, minimal design, while the matching brushed brass taps from Frontline’s Mineral collection bring consistency throughout the space. A bold Cima Designer towel rail in textured black adds a modern edge and ties in with the darker tones of the walls and floor.

The Overall Look
What makes this bathroom special is the way every element works together – the warmth of wood, the drama of black and gold, the clean lines of the fittings, and the balance of light and dark surfaces. The result is a bathroom that feels contemporary and inviting, with a timeless style that will look just as good for years to come.
What the Customer Said
We can talk about the design, but nothing says it better than hearing from the customers themselves. Here’s their feedback, shared on Trustpilot:
