Feature walls are an ever-growing trend especially now that hexagon patterns are making a comeback.

Using a feature wall is an effective way to add uniqueness to a room, whilst keeping costs down. A classic approach to creating this look is by using a mixed tile set; these are becoming much easier to get hold of. In these sets you will receive tiles within the same colour palette but with an array of different patterns and shapes that form a patchwork effect, making a subtle statement.

Another way to draw the eye and add individuality to your kitchen or bathroom is by adding a mosaic. These are generally laid out on a mesh sheet; gone are the days of laboriously arranging tiny individual tiles in the classic way! The mesh sheet mosaics come in a collection of different colours and patterns ranging from bright, glittery or metallic colours to something more understated but still excellent for adding texture and personality to your walls.

3D tiles are definitely set to become a trend in today's market. These tiles protrude from the walls so aren’t ideal for smaller spaces or storage areas but can really add character to an otherwise ordinary room. The tiles come in a range of finishes and colours which look amazing when paired together.

Feature walls are striking in shower enclosures and wet rooms especially as they add texture and distinctiveness. Whether they’ll be around for the long term nobody knows but they’re certainly all the rage for the next few years.
