Making A Purchase
Accuracy of product information:

All product specifications, images and other information stated on our website has been provided by our suppliers and manufacturers. Our intention is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible.

Purchasing & Payment:

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Switch. At the checkout stage you must provide us with the correct billing address for your credit or debit card. Supplying us with incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Once we have received payment and it has been authorised we can process your order.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

In the event of any customers official order form containing any special conditions, it is understood that such conditions are only binding in so far as they are not of any variance with the terms and conditions mentioned herewith, unless specifically accepted by us in writing.

All prices shown and quoted are inclusive of V.A.T.

Shading and Crazing:

Shading and crazing are inherent characteristics of all ceramic tiles. The company reserves the right to refuse any responsibility for tiles shaded, crazed or faulty in any way once said goods have been fixed. The use of goods delivered implies their acceptance by the customer.

Calibration:

In modern manufacturing of most types of Ceramics and Porcelain tiles the calibration i.e. size of the tile may vary from batch to batch. It is important to check the calibration stamped on each box before installation commences. The company cannot accept any claims once materials are fixed or if they are ordered specifically, a specific calibration cannot be guaranteed.

Slate and Natural stone products:

In these products there are some natural characteristics which make handling and fixing more specialised than factory pressed ceramics tiles,. The material is formed over many years by natural process. The thickness of tiles will vary within the same box, as they are split along the vein, which is not constant. Likewise natural fissures occur in the opposite plane and cracking of tiles may occur. Therefore, we do not guarantee that the thickness of tiles will be uniform nor will cracked or broken tiles be accepted as faulty. There will be a considerable variation in colour and type chosen; no two tiles are the same.

Quality, Condition and Suitability or Goods:

It is a particular condition of sale that all goods be inspected and approved by the Buyer in all aspects of quality, shade and condition prior to any cutting or fixing, and that the Buyer is responsible as to the suitability of the product to meet design and manufacturing needs.


Shipping And Handling Delivery prices quoted are for most UK mainland addresses. For any orders that need to be dispatched outside of mainland UK please call and or email us on the contact details stated on the website, and we will provide you with a delivery quote, and will process the order over the phone.

Our delivery costs vary from being free to being £57+ VAT. It entirely depends on the item being ordered. Each product depending on weight and size is allocated a shipping charge, and regardless of how many items are ordered of that kind, you will only be charged that shipping cost once per order. If items of different shipping prices are ordered only the most expensive delivery cost will be charged and only once per order. We have structured our shipping policy as such to ensure the customer isn't paying elevated delivery charges and is only being charged one fee per order. For details of your shipping cost please either contact us by phone or email or see shipping charges on your checkout page. There is still the oppurtunity to cancel the order once shipping charges have been calculated. If you have placed an order without checking the shipping fee, and feel the delivery cost is not acceptable please, email us immediately as to avoid us sending your goods out and being charged for collection.
Due to weight all Adhesives and levelling compounds have a flat rate delivery charge of £25+ VAT. If you have small amounts to order please call or email us and we'll try to reduce delivery costs for you.

You have the option to collect the goods from any of our five showrooms, The showrooms are located in:
Luton (Beds) - Bedford (Beds) - Letchworth (Herts.) - Milton Keynes (Bucks) - Hertford (Hertfordshire)
We will contact you once your order is available at your choice of showroom. Go through to our secure checkout as normal, and select collect from store, and which branch you would like to collect from.

Damaged Goods/Short Delivery Claims:

No claim for damaged goods or short deliveries will be processed unless received in writing by the Company within 24hrs of receipt of goods. Customer's signatures on delivery notes accompanied by remarks such as "unchecked" or "unexamined" or similar will not be binding by the Company.
Delivery Schedule Deliveries will normally be made within 4-7 working days from authorisation of payment. Every effort will be made to effect delivery within the quoted period. Delivery dates are given in good faith, however they are subject to availability and delivery of orders is sometimes out of our control. If our suppliers or we are out of stock we will notify you of the situation and you should allow 14-21 days for goods to be dispatched.

If for some reason we are unable to deliver your goods within 30 days from purchase authorisation, we shall notify you straight away. You reserve the right to cancel the order.

All goods must be checked when delivered, and any damages or faults must be reported to us within 24 hours after delivery.

Back Orders If there is a delay with any item of your order, we will notify you before processing your order. If you would like to wait for the item we will place it on back order for you, however if you can not wait for the item, you can cancel the item or the order with us with no re-stocking charge, providing you have notified us of this prior to he order being processed.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy Order Cancellation:

Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, the customer has the right to cancel the order, however this right expires 7 working days after the order has been delivered. The goods must be available for collection within 7 working days from cancellation notification. If the goods aren't available within this time, your right to cancel will be revoked. Goods must be returned in an unused state and with their original packaging. Please Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession.
Cancellation must be put into writing within the 7 working days of your recieving the goods. The customer must pay all costs for returns unless goods were faulty or incorrect at time of delivery.
If goods need to be returned due to them being incorrect or damaged at the time of delivery, you must notify us of this within 24 hours of delivery.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY PRODUCTS BACK TO US DIRECT. ONCE YOU HAVE NOTIFIED US OF CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER, WE WILL ARRANGE FOR THE GOODS TO BE COLLECTED. UNLESS PRODUCTS DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT, THE CUSTOMER MUST PAY FOR ANY COLLECTION OR RESTOCKING CHARGES.


Credits:

For goods that were faulty or incorrect at time of delivery, we will replace the products, or issue you with a full refund of the product and delivery charge, as long as notification of this fault is sent to us within 24 hours of delivery. For cancellation of an order the following rules apply:
1) If cancelled prior to delivery, you have the right to a full refund of the product and delivery charge
2) If cancelled after goods have been delivered, you have the right to a refund on the product, however you must pay for any delivery charges to return it back to us.
A refund will be given within 30 days of your order cancellation date. If you have recieved your refund prior to you sending back the goods, we reserve the right to charge you for direct costs of recovery.
